Headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya, the AxxonSoft East Africa branch covers the following countries: Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan, Djibouti, and Eritrea.
The AxxonSoft East Africa branch was established almost a year ago, in January 2017. During its first operational year, it conducted 5 events in the region and completed several key projects, including: Ecobank Kenya (20 branches), the Coca Cola plant in Ethiopia, African Development Bank in Kenya, and Diamond Trust Bank in Kenya.
The following events were organized and conducted with the support of AxxonSoft EA:
Partner Event in Tanzania — February 2017
As an inaugural Tanzania event, AxxonSoft EA hosted a partner training in Daresalam. The following partners took part in the training: Agrovision, Kas Electronics, BNH communication, Web Technologies, and Ran IT. This event enabled AxxonSoft EA to interact with the local market and localize its marketing activities.
Partner Event in Ethiopia — March 2017
In March, AxxonSoft EA turned its focus to Ethiopia – one of the fastest growing economies in East Africa. There, the company conducted technical training and interacted with local partners MKTY, Efsec, Newave PLC, and DSA.
During this Ethiopia trip, AxxonSoft EA Regional Manager Joseph Muremba visited Coca Cola and sealed the first company project in Ethiopia.
End-User Breakfast in Kenya — August 2017
AxxonSoft EA and its Kenyan partner Xtranet organized an end-user breakfast event to create awareness of video analytics and integration using the PSIM, as these technologies are new in this region. Some of the end users who visited the event were: Nairobi County, Kenya Revenue Authority, Ministry of Lands, Nation Media Group, and Nairobi Hospital. The event was a success, and resulted in several projects.
AxxonSoft Golf Day in Kenya — August 2017
Also in August and once again with local partner Xtranet, AxxonSoft EA organized a gold day for key end users and influencers. Apart from playing golf, the participants had an opportunity to interact with AxxonSoft software along the golf course. More than 150 guests graced the event. The key contacts established at this event include the Minister of the Treasury, the Governor of Nairobi, and the MD of Kenya Power.
End-User Workshops — September and November 2017
In autumn, AxxonSoft EA and Xtranet conducted two end-user workshops. Workshops are smaller events where usually about 5-8 end users are invited per workshop. They allow the organizers to hear out each of the participants and help them find the right AxxonSoft solution for each of the challenges they face. The feedback on both events was absolutely positive. The following end users participated in the workshops: Thika Road Mall, National Irrigation Board, Teachers Service Commission, Kenya Revenue Authority, Bima Security, and Jacaranda Hotels.
