Intersec 2019 sets the tone for a powerful year ahead

02/12/2019

AxxonSoft concluded a successful three days of business at Intersec, held in Dubai between the 20th and 22nd of January 2019. The team took their exhibition space a step further this year, turning it up a notch by creating the Axxon control room of the future, in real time. This allowed visitors to the exhibition, the opportunity to engage with the software in a unique and experiential environment. Rather than just tell clients about AxxonSoft’s revolutionary Axxon PSIM software, clients were able to personally experience the technology upfront.

Yury Akhmetov “Each expo we partake in is an important arena for Axxon to demonstrate its powerful technology solutions. With an international footprint in 32 regions, Intersec is an extremely important date in our annual calendar as we can network with esteemed partners from around the world. It is a meeting space for great minds who are able to take the security and surveillance sector forward, towards a successful year ahead. It was our focus for this year’s exhibition to create an interactive platform for clients to truly engage with the software first-hand. It proved tremendously successful, and we look forward to building on the relationships fostered over the three days,”

said Yury Akhmetov, Business Development Director for AxxonSoft EMEA.

Colleen Glaeser “As we move forward in 2019, it is pivotal for Axxon to ensure innovative global touchpoints in key regions, engaging with our partners to collaborate on exciting new developments in our sector. Intersec was a great success and allowed us the occasion to interact with industry leaders from across not only the United Arab Emirates, but the world,”

said Global Marketing Director for AxxonSoft, Colleen Glaeser.

Highlights from Intersec 2019 included:

  • A state-of-the-art control room, showcasing Axxon’s integrated security system based on PSIM’s capabilities. From access control and facial recognition, to videowall management, and system automation using embedded scripts, this onsite control room demonstrated the software’s ability to effectively operate across all security devices available in typical threat escalation scenarios at a particular site.
  • Axxon VMS, incorporating features such as face search, license plate search, fast forensic search, Tag&Track Pro which follows moving objects, and Axxon’s latest web interface and cloud service features.
  • Deep learning-based fire and smoke detection tools, and our object classification algorithm that identifies people among moving objects for more effective situational awareness and forensic search.

“Based on the triumph of this year’s exhibition, AxxonSoft looks forward to a positive year of growth alongside exciting collaborations with our valued partners, striving to create a safer world for all,”

concludes Glaeser.
